This webinar will review the changes to the ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for FY 2024, emphasizing important updates to the code set and official guidelines. Also included will be discussion of some of the MS-DRG changes from the 2024 IPPS Final Rule, including the reporting of three SDOH codes for Homelessness as CCs for MS-DRG assignment. Documentation challenges and potential areas of coding error will be highlighted along with strategies for addressing these challenges.
